Young Leaders Society
With United Way, you can support an umbrella organization that supports key initiatives. With the Young Leader Society, you get the additional perks of networking events and access to other people who are like-minded. - Mark Melton, Hunton & Williams, LLP
Members of the Young Leaders Society make a lasting difference in the lives of others in our community while also building and enhancing their professional connections. Through special networking events and volunteer projects, members engage with fellow young leaders from diverse backgrounds and industries.
In the past few years, members have volunteered in several impactful community projects, including assembling family literacy packets so parents and children can work on homework projects together and making audio recordings of children's books and magazines for the blind/learning impaired. Members have enjoyed recent networking events at the Ghostbar and The Stoneleigh Hotel.
