Breaking the cycles of dropouts, poverty and poor health in North Texas depends on engaging the entire community. Join tens of thousands of United Way advocates by telling your friends and colleagues about the importance of getting involved.
You can also use your voice to improve critical public policies. In 2011, United Way advocates successfully lobbied the Texas Legislature to strengthen the training requirements for childcare providers, which will enable them to better prepare children for kindergarten.
