If you live in Dallas, Collin, Rockwall or southern Denton counties, we work for you. Since 1924, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas has given people in North Texas ways to improve lives in our community.
Today, the best way to make the biggest possible impact is to first focus on areas that change people's lives forever: preparing kids to graduate and succeed, helping families leave poverty permanently and enabling people to live healthy, responsible lives.
United Way amplifies every contribution you make to help the community address these big issues. Volunteers just like you give nearly 17,000 hours of their time to find the best ways to invest gifts to the United Way Community Impact Fund, so every dollar you give makes the biggest possible impact. United Way also directs the passion and expertise of more than 5,000 volunteers a year toward work that helps people change their lives forever. And we give everyone tools to become more informed advocates for addressing the pressing issues in North Texas.
In 2010, community leaders and people like you developed the United 2020 community goals for the next 10 years. Because achieving these bold goals depends on a coordinated effort by the whole community, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas will do everything we can to help North Texans work together to reach them:
Prepare 60 percent of high school graduates to succeed in education
after high school. Learn more
Move 250,000 more individuals
out of poverty permanently.
|Improve health and quality of life across the region. Learn more|
We're already making great progress toward achieving these goals, but we will need your support to succeed. We invite you to help us achieve these goals and LIVE UNITED: Give. Advocate. Volunteer. Thank you for making a difference by supporting United Way!
