Having a premature baby is expensive and emotionally exhausting, but in many cases, it can be prevented.
Moms that don't have insurance are more likely to deliver early. A new group has set out to change that.
The goal of the Life Shines Bright pregnancy program at Methodist Hospital Dallas is to reduce the number of babies born prematurely. From parenting basics to health checks, mothers get an education in how to take care of themselves and their baby.
