Spotlight on Glenn West
Glenn D. West is managing partner of the Dallas office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. He is a United Way of Metropolitan Dallas board member, and also chairs the 2006 law firm campaign cabinet committee.
Mr. West has been engaged in leadership roles with United Way for the past three years. His accomplishments include the implementation of a new recognition program termed "Bench & Bar," which honors area judges and attorneys who invest in United Way at the Tocqueville level of $10,000 or more per year.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. West has led public and private acquisition and corporate finance transactions for the following clients, among others: Ewing Management Group, HM Capital Partners, Lindsay, American Airlines, Greyhound Lines, Inc., Six Flags, Inc., and Blockbuster, Inc.
He was recognized as one of America's leading business lawyers by Chambers USA 2006, and is listed in the 2006 and 2007 editions of The Best Lawyers in America.
