Spotlight on Pat Faubion
Pat Faubion, Executive Vice President of Comerica Bank and treasurer of United Way of Metropolitan Dallas is admired for both his professional and community contributions and achievements.
Mr. Faubion has been with Comerica Bank for 23 years. Comerica Bank has run a United Way campaign since 1988, the year Comerica acquired Grand Bank. Of great significance is the vast difference in Comerica's first campaign which raised $3,600 compared to this year's $525,000!
Pat has been a United Way campaign volunteer for more than 10 years in various capacities, including membership on the board, campaign cabinet and finance committee roles.
"I consider my investment in the United Way to be a very efficient way to support a large number of social service agencies in our community," said Faubion. "I place great trust in the community volunteers that man allocation boards and conduct site visits for partner agencies. I'm also encouraged that United Way is becoming a leader in meeting critical needs, such as the investments in Born Learning and Destination Graduation. As our community grows, the need has never been greater. I believe it's our responsibility and our privilege as citizens of the community to help others. Together, we really can make a difference."
Mr. Faubion has been married for 27 years to Rachael, who teaches physics at Yaveneh Academy. They have two sons, John and Mark. The Faubion family enjoys sailing and spends as much time as possible at their vacation home in Port Aransas.
