Spotlight on Gina Calabro
Gina Calabro, Customer Process Coordinator and 2006 TXU Campaign Chairwoman, managed a tremendously successful campaign at TXU this year! Working with committed volunteers, she led TXU to realize exceptional results, ultimately raising $1.68 million to benefit United Way's mission, a 39% increase in employee giving.
"It's rewarding to know I'm supporting those who are less fortunate, and it's great knowing my donation goes twice as far when matched with TXU corporate funds," said Gina. "Through our payroll deductions, giving is simple and convenient; and I don't have the hassle of writing a check each month. For me, supporting United Way is the right thing to do."
Before assuming the chairmanship of this year's campaign, Gina served on the TXU United Way steering committee. She has been with TXU since 1983 and has been a supporter of United Way her entire career.
