United Way of Metropolitan Dallas (UWMD) would like to recognize Angela Mullino, Director of eBusiness and Web Operations, as its Employee of the Month.
Among her nomination comments from UWMD staff, Angela was singled out for being “one of the hardest working employees” who “is always on her game.”
“Every day she receives so many requests from all departments, and she addresses all of her work with a smile, patience and professionalism. She is always so accommodating and is a really bright spot at UWMD,” submitted one of her colleagues.
Angela LIVES UNITED in our community by volunteering and advocating for United Way whenever possible.
“I volunteer weekly with my sons’ Cub Scout pack,” she says. “Scouting was a key part of life for my dad and brother — a very powerful bonding experience for them that helped shape my brother into the man he is today.”
As a single mom raising three sons, Angela says volunteering with the Cub Scout pack not only helps the other families in the pack.
“It is also enabling me to raise my sons to be responsible young men despite the limited male influence in their family life,” she says.
Angela has been a United Way donor since 1994 and a Leadership Giver since 2004.
In May 2009, Angela celebrated her 15-year anniversary with United Way. She began as an administrative assistant in Resource Development and later in the Brand department, and also served as graphic designer.
When she’s not working, Angela enjoys spending time with her three sons, ages 4, 9 and 10, often hosting dinners, play dates and sleepovers for five other boys in her neighborhood.
“It is not uncommon for me to have eight boys show up for dinner,” she says. “I also enjoy reading and home improvement projects, when time allows.”
During your next visit to UWMD, please congratulate Angela Mullino and thank her for a job well done.
