Mission

To engage and encourage women to LIVE UNITED through philanthropic activities that improve our community.

In 2008, more than 1,100 WLC members raised over $1.6 million to benefit United Way's work in the areas of education, income and health. Nearly 60 percent of North Texas residents who benefit from United Way programs are female: mothers, daughters, and grandmothers.

More than a dozen WLC members volunteered at the annual Feast of Sharing, where thousands of individuals and families were fed a free Thanksgiving meal.

Fall into Fashion (August 2008)

From the runway to the United Way, members of the Women's Leadership Council enjoyed an evening of shopping and socializing at the second annual Fall into Fashion.
